Route Transitions for React Router

"Routeveil is an open-source TypeScript transition engine for React Router.

It adds page transitions, overlay reveals, shared-element morphing, lazy-route preloading, destination anchors, and asynchronous route-readiness handling without replacing React Router.

Matching elements can be connected across routes with RouteveilSharedElement, while Routeveil handles measurement, temporary DOM cloning, incoming-route rendering, geometry animation, interruptions, and cleanup.

Routeveil is built with React and TypeScript and integrates directly with React Router. The transition engine coordinates normal React Router navigation with the Web Animations API.

Its React components and hooks manage outgoing and incoming route states, shared-element matching, lazy-route readiness, animation interruption, reduced-motion behavior, and cleanup.

The documentation website and interactive transition demos are also built with React."
