Kpler is seeking a talented and motivated full stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining our authorisation and user management systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that ensure secure access to our platform's data and services. Your software engineering expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality code that meets our growing business needs. You will have experience in TypeScript or JavaScript as well as a modern, front-end framework and demonstrate a willingness to learn when required. Experience in any of Scala, Python or PHP would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, Development and Deploy:

  • Develop and maintain robust authorisation and user management systems using a modern tech stack.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Deploy Docker containerised solutions to AWS via Terraform, Helm charts, Kubernetes and other technologies.

System Integration:

  • Integrate user management systems with existing and new internal and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new features with existing systems and services.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of your work to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Testing and Debugging:

  • Develop unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the solutions.
  • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues in a timely manner.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
